Meet Your Instructors
Gin Yates
I began my yoga journey, having tried all the ways to stay in shape with nothing ever working for me. In 2015 when I felt at my lowest energetically, spiritually, and physically, I walked into a community yoga class, Small, intimate, perfect. I was bitten by the bug as they say, not a clue as to what lay ahead. Fast forward to present time, I changed my entire career to massage therapy. Knowing I had to take care of myself mentally and physically in order to keep myself fit in all ways to take care of others, and knowing yoga was the way for me to do it, I fully dedicated myself to the practice. As I strengthened my practice, I then knew it was time to give to others what I was learning. I received my 200 hour yoga teacher training certification in 2021, and have been teaching since. I am looking to continue my yoga teacher training, earning my 300 hour YTT in the upcoming year.
Being a massage therapist I see clients all the time with a lot of the same issues in their bodies, coming to me to find relief. I want to help in more ways than just bodywork to ease muscle pain and discomfort. I want to teach how to build strength and mobility in muscles and joints. I want to share with you what I know about yoga, and ways to stay healthy in your body, mind and spirit. I look forward to sharing space with you.
Jon Baugher
Jon is a daily yoga practitioner, and believes in the self- love, health, and grounded awareness brought forth from a solid asana practice.  Taking his first yoga class in late 2016, with his beautiful wife, and teacher Sarah. Jon soon took to the personal practice noticing the beauty within, and a thirst for further exploration and discovery to a path of better love and living. Yoga has since become a strong force in his life that he holds in admiration and high respect. Throughout his practice he has been blessed with having the right teachers to teach the lessons he has needed. As a student,  has learned that every lesson, whether easy or not, is a lesson you need to find the way closer to your heart space. After having an ever evolving daily practice, Jon aligned with his current teacher, and, as the universe would have it, serendipitously fell into the loving arms of teacher training. In the spring of 2022, graduating from Scott Lawlor Yoga Academy.
Outside of practice and study, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah, his dogs Henry and Walter,  live music, kayaking, the beach, the mountains, and being barefoot.
